Weinhotel Hubertus Garni - Klotten

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in the Moselle Valley. The value for money was excellent - very affordable and the prices for drinks were reasonable too. The attention to detail was impressive, especially with the selection of wine available. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area but still close enough to popular tourist spots like Cochem and the famous castles. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were all that I needed, and even though I had a room with no view in the old building, it was still comfortable and cosy. Lastly, breakfast was a treat with a delicious spread to start the day off right.

We stayed at a hotel in the area and found it nicely located to visit nearby attractions such as Burg Eltz and the Calmont Klettersteig. the breakfast was served from 8:30am and we appreciated the wine bottles we got as a compensation for missing it. the host was a little odd, but we managed fine in the end. the rooms were clean and tidy with a nice view.

We were disappointed with the lack of proper bar facilities during the day.

The hotel's Christmas decorations were beautiful and really put me in the festive mood. The free breakfast was also a nice touch and gave us a boost to start the day. The location is perfect for exploring the charming town and nearby attractions.

The lack of bar facilities really put a damper on our stay. We were hoping to be able to enjoy some holiday drinks in a cozy atmosphere, but there was no option available. Additionally, the staff were not very welcoming or friendly, which was disappointing especially during the holiday season. All in all, while the hotel had some positive aspects, the lack of proper bar facilities and unfriendly staff really detracted from our experience.
